Before 2001, Insight's in-house prototyping capabilities were limited. Trying to manage a process using less than ideal equipment was difficult - until the company joined forces with Tinel Technologies, a premier model shop in Chicago.

The merger was a success; it not only brought in Yvan Tinel, a veritable expert, but it also transformed Insight's prototyping offerings into the best in their class. Says Tinel, "Bringing my top-quality prototyping skills into a world class design organization has resulted in an exceptional level of success. It's been exciting to watch our growth over the past few years."

Insight's design process is about evolving and perfecting the product. Seeing projects through to completion and smoothing out flaws along the way keeps Insight intimately tied to every design it creates. And since the entire process takes place within Insight's walls, the designers work closely with their models and have greater control of the design every step of the way.

Insight will celebrate 20 years of successful design and innovation on July 18, 2008. To commemorate this achievement, we will post a short story about our company's evolution each month until our anniversary.
