Insight's Boston and Chicago offices were working with clients all over the county and one particular project brought the company together with Arrisphere, an engineering firm based in Raleigh, N.C. The collaboration was successful for the client, which led to Insight thinking about merging with Arrisphere to further expand their reach.

Insight and Arrisphere realized a merger would benefit both companies, and in 2004 it became official. The location near North Carolina's Research Triangle Park allowed Insight to build more intimate relationships with clients in the Southeast.

"When Insight approached us about joining the company, it was really a no-brainer as it allowed our engineering services to combine with their full service design and development offerings," said Anthony Annibale, formerly of Arrisphere and now a partner at Insight. "It certainly caught us off guard, but we knew opportunities to grow like that don't happen very often, and our Raleigh office has been thriving ever since."
