Cardinal Health Pulse Lavage

A new direction

Cardinal Health identified an opportunity to develop a disposable pulse lavage tool that would utilize medical tubing, a core product for Cardinal Health. Pulse lavage instruments direct controlled, high-pressure streams of water and are used in nearly every kind of open orthopedic surgery. As orthopedic surgeons are not typical customers for Cardinal Health, a key challenge for Insight was to develop a compelling and unique product that orthopedic surgeons would find useful and would prefer over other brands.
