Constantly on the move

Insight discovered that portability of both the surface and the control box would be a crucial part of any successful design. The control module was quite heavy and could be awkward to move and install onto a bed frame if not properly designed. Since this product was constantly being installed, removed, cleaned and reinstalled, portability was key. Insight turned to mock-ups and early user evaluations to test initial design concepts for key usability and human factors issues.
