Creating a full system

Once the actual transducer chamber was designed and proven out, the design team had to create a full system that worked for both the patient and the imaging technician and that was self-contained on a mobile cart. Insight worked in 2D and 3D to create designs that could be tested with the targeted user group. Ergonomic models were built and testing was done to verify the patient's comfort and the clinical appropriateness of the final design.
