Latching on to the perfect solution
Despite all the obvious hazards that exist in the industrial workplace, exposure to environmental factors poses a very real health threat. Supervisors at industrial sites understand this problem and continually educate and encourage their workers to take precautions such as wearing respirators. Workers, however, don't always comply. When Aearo Corporation heard that workers weren't using their respirators anywhere close to regulation, they asked Insight to investigate why respirators were falling out of use. The objective was to uncover and define the challenges with existing respirators and then to provide solutions which would encourage worker compliance.
