Keurig approached Insight Product Development with a major challenge: create a home version of their highly automated and highly successful single-cup commercial brewer and maintain the same performance standards but deliver at 25 percent of the cost. Additionally, the home brewer needed to fit into the home environment in terms of aesthetics, size and ease of use.
