Getting it done in two and three dimensions

The new visual brand language that was developed for Coleman Powermate was greatly inspired by the focus on ergonomics. The new designs had to be more comfortable than the competition by perception as well as actual feel. Developing designs as well as supporting mock-ups accomplished this goal. In addition, the line was outfitted with all plastic triggers to be more comfortable to use as well as to help appear more like power tools. Color was used to emphasize this advantage. Dimensional logo medallions were added to emphasize the brand and give the products a higher level image.
