Building partnerships in the innovation cycle

In order to strengthen customer relationships and gain early buy in on new strategic directions and new products, Insight and X-Rite presented potential product solutions with key retailer customers as well as consumers. This validation ensured that these solutions resonated well with all groups prior to initiating costly development activities. This process resulted in two customers giving early commitment to new products, one which employed a new technology platform and one that utilized an existing technology in a new application.
